Former CEO of Rovio hired to bring back Nokia phones on the market...

Global HMD Oy, a new Finnish company Nokia brand relaunch looking phones, it said Monday it has hired Pekka Rantala, former CEO of Angry Birds Rovio producer, as director of marketing.

Nokia, once the biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world, said in May it had signed an exclusive licensing agreement with HMD device to bring the Nokia brand in the market.

Veteran of Nokia, Rantala has worked for the company 1994-2011, he joined the Rovio as CEO in 2015, but after that, he got only one year on the job after the introduction of deep cuts and restructuring.

Nokia has been wrong-footed the growth of smartphones and overshadowed by Apple and Samsung. all its Microsoft Corp business mobile phones were sold in 2014 and now focuses on the telecommunication network equipment.

Microsoft has largely abandoned the business acquired since then.

Phones and tablets from Nokia brand HMD runs on Android operating system. The devices will be manufactured and distributed mobile FIH, subsidiary of Foxconn Technology. still give at any time for the products. ,
